47 in-service Mathematics Teachers from the North West and West Regions trained in Limbe by AIMS Cameroon’s Teacher Training Program (AIMS TTP) in October, have successfully completed classroom teaching exercises under the supervision of their Master Trainers. The teaching exercise was the last phase of the 4-day training workshop organised by AIMS TTP in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and the Government of Cameroon.

Split into six groups and on the field from 11th to 16th November, the teachers showcased newly acquired lesson delivery and class management techniques in several secondary schools in Bamenda such as GBHS Downtown Bamenda and GBHS Bamendakwe as well as in the West Region such as GBHS Ndiengdam, GBHS Gouache and GBHS Babadjou. The purpose of the AIMS TTP training workshops is to equip Mathematics teachers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude they need to effectively prepare and deliver participatory, engaging, interactive, innovative, gender-sensitive and inclusive Mathematics lessons.
