This nursing mother from Government Bilingual High School (GBHS) Limbe was one of the 47 In-Service Mathematics teachers from the South West Region attending a workshop organised in Limbe by AIMS TTP from the 25th to the 28th of November 2020.

In line with its policy of gender inclusiveness and commitment to encourage women, AIMS TTP invited Kwajei Leon Marie. She came to the training facility with her four-month old baby Aayla-Joy, her 3-year-old daughter Jemima and a caregiver. Leon Marie was equally impressed by the training and promised to apply the lessons learned back in the classroom.

Improving the learning and teaching of Mathematics is the aim of the workshops organised since 2017 by AIMS TTP which also seeks to promote and demystify Mathematics while increasing the number of students who pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects in Higher Education.
