                Dr Gideon Akumah Ngwa, is a holder of the Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Mathematical Modelling and Biology from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom of Great Britain. He is a researcher and Professor of Applied Mathematical Modelling and Epidemiology and Head of the Applied Mathematical and Computer Assisted Modelling Unit (AMCAMU) of the Department of Mathematics, University of Buea, Cameroon. He also doubles as the Director (Dean) of the University of Buea Postgraduate School, basically coordinating postgraduate studies at the University of Buea.  He has expertise and experience in mathematical modelling and has contributed to the global malaria eradication and control problem through his Mathematical Models.  His current research interests are in Applied Mathematics with an inclination towards the Mathematical Modelling of Biological Systems including: Applicable Mathematics, Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis, Mathematical Ecology and Biology, Mathematical modelling of the dynamics of directly and indirectly transmitted diseases, Modelling the effects of boundary conditions on reaction diffusion equations, Modelling Biological pattern formation. Mathematical modelling of physical phenomena in general.
