AIMS Cameroon recently concluded its Entrepreneurship Week (E-week), a program designed to empower students with the skills and knowledge to launch impactful ventures. Led by Professor Bikoko<\/a>, the week focused on Design Thinking, a human-centered approach to problem-solving.
Students tackled real-world challenges by forming teams and brainstorming solutions. Professor Bikoko<\/a>‘s guidance equipped them with the tools to translate their ideas into actionable business models.
The week culminated in a pitch contest, where students presented their solutions to a panel of industry experts and incubating programs. The creativity and potential of the projects were impressive, with three ventures selected for further development. These “spin-off” projects will provide students with the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality, fostering innovation and social impact within their communities.
This program exemplifies AIMS Cameroon’s commitment to nurturing not only scientific excellence, but also the future generation of African entrepreneurs. By equipping students with the necessary skills and fostering a culture of innovation, AIMS is empowering them to address Africa’s challenges and shape a brighter future.
