Il est au D\u00e9partement de statistique de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 de Warwick depuis l&#039;automne 2004. Auparavant, il \u00e9tait \u00e0 l&#039;Universit\u00e9 de Birmingham en tant que responsable des statistiques et des math\u00e9matiques de gestion, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 lecteur, ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rences et ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rences en statistiques. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 vice-pr\u00e9sident de la Royal Statistical Society et secr\u00e9taire honoraire de sa section de recherche et a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sident du West Midlands Group 2005-2015. Il est membre de l&#039;American Statistical Association et membre \u00e9lu de l&#039;International Statistical Institute.
