<\/span>Gaelle Patricia Talotsing est une Ing\u00e9nieur R\u00e9seaux et T\u00e9l\u00e9communications avec un fort int\u00e9r\u00eat pour l'Intelligence Artificielle (IA). Elle a obtenu son dipl\u00f4me d'ing\u00e9nieur en 2017 \u00e0 l'Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure Polytechnique de Douala (ENSPD, ex-FGI), Cameroun. Passion Elle a ensuite travaill\u00e9 pendant un an en tant que tutrice et professeure assistante \u00e0 l'Ex-FGI (ENSPD) o\u00f9 elle a enseign\u00e9 la transmission de l'information, l'ing\u00e9nierie des r\u00e9seaux et les protocoles. Son exp\u00e9rience et sa curiosit\u00e9 pour l'intelligence artificielle se sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es \u00e0 l'Institut Africain des Sciences Math\u00e9matiques (AIMS) Cameroun \u00e0 Limb\u00e9 o\u00f9 elle a obtenu un Master Coop\u00e9ratif en Math\u00e9matiques Industrielles: Big Data et Math\u00e9matiques Financi\u00e8res en f\u00e9vrier 2020. A AIMS Cameroun, elle \u00e9tait boursi\u00e8re MasterCard et a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e pour la bourse d'excellence IVADO, ce qui lui a permis de faire un stage \u00e0 la Chaire d'excellence en recherche du Canada sur la prise de d\u00e9cision en temps r\u00e9el (CERC) \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, au Canada. \u00abJe suis tr\u00e8s reconnaissant envers l'AIMS, j'ai appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 ma formation \u00e0 l'AIMS et j'utilise toujours les hautes comp\u00e9tences math\u00e9matiques acquises au cours de ma formation de Master Coop. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 AIMS, je ma\u00eetrise d\u00e9sormais facilement les outils math\u00e9matiques et informatiques: techniques d'apprentissage automatique et d'intelligence artificielle, mod\u00e9lisation math\u00e9matique et statistique, recherche op\u00e9rationnelle en confirmant des \u00e9tudes th\u00e9oriques par des travaux pratiques, des projets et des stages \u00bb, explique-t-elle. Apr\u00e8s l'AIMS, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 tutrice \u00e0 l'ENSPD, assistante d'enseignement en Administration de R\u00e9seau et Processus Stochastique. Elle poursuit actuellement un doctorat en informatique au Laboratoire de recherche en informatique mobile et r\u00e9seautage (LARIM) de Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al. Attir\u00e9e pour r\u00e9soudre de nouveaux d\u00e9fis, son r\u00eave est de pouvoir participer \u00e0 la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes avec des solutions d'IA et surtout d'inspirer et d'inclure les femmes dans les STEM. Gaelle Patricia Talotsing dit qu'elle est attir\u00e9e par les math\u00e9matiques parce qu'elle pense que les math\u00e9matiques sont un large \u00e9ventail d'outils puissants pour r\u00e9soudre une grande partie des probl\u00e8mes quotidiens. \u00abLes math\u00e9matiques ouvrent l'esprit, elles sont concr\u00e8tes, logiques et pratiques. Personnellement, j'aime utiliser les outils math\u00e9matiques notamment pour am\u00e9liorer et d\u00e9velopper la technologie des r\u00e9seaux et des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications. \u00bbLe 12 mai 2021, Gaelle Patricia s'est \u00e9galement jointe au reste du monde pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la Journ\u00e9e internationale des femmes en math\u00e9matiques. \u00abCe jour est une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de ces femmes qui ont os\u00e9 \u00e9tudier et appliquer les math\u00e9matiques. C'est une journ\u00e9e pour inspirer de plus en plus de filles et de femmes \u00e0 avoir le courage de choisir les math\u00e9matiques, car pour moi c'est une belle science. Aux jeunes femmes, je dirai n'ayez pas peur des math\u00e9matiques, vous pouvez le faire! C'est un d\u00e9fi, mais je suis s\u00fbr que vous pouvez y arriver! At AIMS Cameroon, she was a MasterCard Scholar and was selected for the IVADO Excellence Scholarship, giving her the opportunity to intern at the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Real-Time Decision-Making (CERC) in Montreal, Canada. During her internship, she investigated Deep Learning (DL) models compression and worked on the implementation of 03 compression techniques that significantly reduce the size of a very large model while preserving as much of its performance as possible: the Knowledge Distillation, Pruning and Quantization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am really grateful about AIMS, I enjoyed my training at AIMS and I am still using the high mathematical skills acquired during my Coop Master training. Because of AIMS, \u00a0I now have an easy handling of Mathematical and Computer tools : Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques, Mathematical and Statistical Modelling, Operational Research by confirming theoretical studies through practical work, projects and internships,” she says.

Apr\u00e8s l'AIMS, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 tutrice \u00e0 l'ENSPD, assistante d'enseignement en Administration de R\u00e9seau et Processus Stochastique.
