His project aimed to address the various challenges ophthalmologists face when diagnosing the disease, including the time-consuming manual processing of fundus photographs of the retina. Ultimately, the goal was to contribute to developing a more accurate and efficient solution for the right patient, helping doctors diagnose the disease more quickly and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Baurice is currently a master&#8217;s student in Data Science and Scientific Computing at the University of Trieste, Italy. His area of specialization is data science application in healthcare.
