Dr. Taylor is currently the Director of the Scientific and Statistical Computing Core (SSCC) of the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH, USA). He completed his BS in Physics (with a double major in Classics) from Boston College in 2004, and completed his doctorate in Astrophysics in 2009 from the University of Oxford in the UK.
He has worked for a year as a teaching assistant at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in South Africa, and has taught the Python Programming lecture several times accross the AIMS network.
