Dr. Jean-Daniel is an AIMS-Cameroon Alumnus of the 2014/2015 cohort and a former assistant
lecturer at AIMS-Cameroon. After AIMS, he started his Ph.D. at the Universidad de Santiago de
Compostela, Spain under the supervision of Professor Juan José Nieto and Professor Iván Area in
the field of Mathematical Analysis. While doing his Ph.D., he was from time to time providing tutorials at AIMS-Cameroon until 2019. In June 2019, he became a DAAD Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the AIMS-Cameroon Research Center, working with Professor Gisèle Mophou Loudjom. He is now the Acting Research Chair at the Center. His research interests are Nonlinear Analysis, Nonlocal operators and PDEs, Optimal Control Theory and Shape Optimization.
