STEMUP 2025

As we get ready to raise the curtains on the annual Business and Employability Training Week, we are excited to introduce STEMUP, a five-day entrepreneurship development program designed to help students bridge the gap between STEM knowledge and business success. Through direct engagement with experienced entrepreneurs, students will gain practical insights into building solutions that address local challenges and contribute to the continent’s transformation from within.

STEMUP represents another ambitious step in our mission at AIMS Cameroon—helping students find their footing in the business world and positioning them as leaders of Africa’s economic transformation. By fostering businesses that create jobs and bring real impact to local communities, we continue to strengthen our commitment to meaningful, long-term change.

Throughout the week, seasoned entrepreneurs—including Noel Nfebe, Peter Finjap, Ayo Lasisi, and Serge Boupda—will lead discussions on their entrepreneurial journeys, the challenges they are tackling, and the opportunities they see in the market. These sessions will allow students to interact, learn, and refine their ideas with guidance from those who have successfully navigated the path of innovation and enterprise.

The highlight of the week will be a pitch competition, where students will present their solutions to a panel of industry experts, including Elad Forwa, Martin Elonge, and Paul Mbua. Their insights and feedback will help students sharpen their business models, align with market realities, and position themselves for growth.

STEMUP is a call to action—to build, to innovate, and to lead Africa’s transformation through entrepreneurship. We look forward to an impactful week and invite you to engage in this journey of change.
