Dr. Windmanagda Sawadogo
Sawadogo Windmanagda is a researcher in the field of meteorology, renewable energy, and climate science. He holds a PhD degree from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria and a Msc degree in Climate Change and Energy from the University of Abdou Moumouni, Niamey, Niger. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Augsburg, Germany since 2020. He has published several papers on the impacts of climate change on renewable energy in high quality journals. He developed high-resolution energy meteorological forecasting systems to improve solar energy forecasting in West Africa using numerical weather prediction model. His research aims to provide valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and stakeholders involved in renewable energy projects across Africa. He is also passionate about enhancing the capacity of students in the field of climate science and renewable energy.
