Ahmed Mohamed Elhussien OMER

Sudan

Taught Masters, 2016/2017

  • While at AIMS, Omer studied the problem of missing calibration in high throughput experiments. He introduced the concept of the orthogonal array and its connection with the experimental design, then used the Bush’s method to mix 6 samples using 4 markers and to recover the correct concentration of each sample. Also, Omer used the Rao-Hamming method to construct an optimal mixture setup.
  • After AIMS, Omer worked as a data analyst for five years. He has been admitted to study a master’s degree in machine learning and artificial intelligence at AIMS-Senegal, which he will start this month.
