While at AIMS, Pavel’s goal was to observe the effect of spray insecticides as a means of preventive control against malaria, using the impulsive differential equations and performing simulations on fixed spray periods.

Pavel defended his Ph.D. thesis in Physics at the University of Yaounde 1 (Cameroon) in May 2023.
