Cameroonian-born Edwine Tendong is an AIMS-Cameroon alumnus of the 2015/2016 cohort. Before AIMS, Edwine obtained a B.Sc in Physics from the University of Buea, Cameroon, an MSc. in Condensed Matter Physics at the University Of Dschang, Cameroon, and a DIPES II (M. Ed) at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. Before AIMS, he equally served as a Secondary School Teacher with the Ministry of Secondary Education, Cameroon. While at AIMS, Edwine carried out a research where he made use of Mathematical Sciences in determining and controlling flow rates of fluids from emptying tanks, with applications to the processing of rubber latex at the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC). The solutions proffered were very vital and well appreciated by the company’s management. After AIMS-Cameroon, he received the TWAS-BOSE Ph.D. fellowship to study for a Ph.D. in Physics at S N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, India.

Edwine completed his PhD at S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, India and is currently a Teaching Assistant at AIMS-Cameroon.
