Woudi Rodrigue Woudi was born in a small city named Muea in the South West Region of Cameroon in 1997. He obtained both his GCE ordinary and Advanced Levels in Lycee Muea and then decided to pursue an undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Buea. After his undergraduate degree, he went on to pursue a Master’s degree in physics from the same university in 2019 and was then selected for another Master’s program in Mathematical Sciences at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Limbe, Cameroon.
At AIMS, Woudi was introduced to Quantum computing, a field which he had only rudimentary knowledge and went on to write his thesis on the subject. Since then, Woudi has become a quantum computing evangelist who has travelled, participated and competed in quantum computing programs across the globe. His ambition is to become a leading researcher at the interface between quantum computing and condensed matter physics.
