While at AIMS, Jonas’ work aimed at finding a solution to a problem issued by a telecommunication company, ERICSSON, about allocating cell sites to field technicians. He formalized the problem as a k-clustering problem and examined some methods in the literature to solve it.. After AIMS, Jonas Work at Google Ghana. He is currently a

Ignatius NYENDAH
While at AIMS, Ignatius deployed multigrid methods to efficiently solve anisotropic elliptic problems arising from physical phenomena; compared the effect of the various relaxation schemes considered on the basis of efficiently smoothing high frequency error components and short wavelength components of the error produced by the approximation of the exact solution using the multigrid method;
Evan Muchiri MAINA
While at AIMS, Evan investigated the goodness of fit for Bernoulli family of distributions, proved some of the properties of Bernoulli, binomial, geometric and negative binomial distributions and provided a simplified way of proving the properties of the Bernoulli family of distribution to enhance understanding. After AIMS, Evan completed a Diploma in Insurance at the
Edwige FEULEFACK SONGONG
While at AIMS, Edwige derived the mathematical model of mechanical structures knowing their hysteretic reaction and explored the case of the Boucwen model of by considering three approaches: the analytical, the numerical and the experimental. Edwige is in the process of completing her PhD degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
Coffi Aristide HOUNKPE
While at AIMS, Coffi studied the generation of electricity using thermal power plant and the phenomena that may take place in the boiler which is the important part of this facility. Coffi is currently a PhD student at Freiburg University, Germany.
Calvine Otieno ODIWUOR
While at AIMS, Calvine discussed the so-called Black-Scholes (fair price) formula for the ”fair price” of a European call option and also the corresponding hedging portfolio within this Black-Scholes model, following a risk-neutral pricing methodology. After AIMS, Calvine completed a second Masters degree in actuarial science and became a certified insurance agent. He is currently
Alain Dika
While at AIMS, Alain studied the Dispersive shock waves (DSWs) in the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation and two dimensional Benjamin-Ono (2DBO) equation using step-like initial data along a parabolic front. He showed that employing an appropriate ansatz and a parabolic similarity reduction exactly reduces the study of such DSWs in two space-one-time (2 + 1) dimensions
Dr. Micheal Babatunde OGUNTOLA
While at AIMS, Michael studied the Stone-Cech and one-point compactification by establishing some useful results emanating from definitions and theorems that play crucial roles in the field. After AIMS, Michael obtained his PhD from the University of Stavanger, Norway.
Dr. Markdonal Ghakanyuy BIME
While at AIMS, Markdonal reviewed three mathematical models in order to quantify the parameters that underlie T-cell proliferation dynamics: Smith-Martin, Cyton and the Age depending branching models. After AIMS, Markdonal obtained his PhD from the University of Buea (Cameroon) and he currently works as Lecturer at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon.
Amandine MALONGUEMFO TEAGHO
While at AIMS, Amandine studied the model of three hybrid systems: the bouncing ball, the nonholonomic integrator and the cart-pendulum system; and the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of the bouncing ball and the nonholonomic integrator. She also computed the linear state feedback control laws of the cart-pendulum system. After AIMS, Amandine completed the ALGANT
