On January 23rd 2018,the Minister of Secondary Education, Mr. Ernest Bibehe visited the second batch of trainees (in service teachers from the Anglophone sub-educational system) for the AIMS Cameroon TTP (Teacher Training Program). The second batch consists of 11 females and 39 males. They were thrilled to see the Minister of Secondary Education witnessing their journey on how to impact their pedagogy and increasing secondary school students’ interest in mathematics. This was the 2nd session of a series of trainings to take place subsequently. The goal is to train approximately 4000 teachers in the country who will impact 2million secondary scholars.
The minister was satisfied with the work done so far by AIMS in Cameroon and encouraged every participant and stakeholder to keep working harder until results change occurs in the education landscape.
