Marco Garuti is the Academic Director at AIMS Cameroon and Researcher at Padova University, Italy. He obtained his degree at the University of Rome La Sapienza and completed his PhD in Mathematics at Université Paris-Sud, France. His research interests are in p-adic and positive characteristic geometry; coverings and fundamental groups.
