Faustus Domebale Maale

Faustus Maale is from the Upper West Region of Ghana. He studied data science at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Cameroon. During his time at AIMS, Faustus improved his programming skills in Python and R and enhanced his statistical and machine learning analytic skills. He also interacted with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and was involved in various IT activities such as video recording, photo shooting, video editing, and laptop diagnosis.

Faustus is known for his sense of humor, his ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable, and his willingness to help others both academically and non-academically. He holds a degree in statistics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. His research interests include using machine learning to improve health outcomes and promoting transparency in statistics through classical theories and statistical learning.

Faustus’ career goal is to become a college professor and data analyst focused on improving health and business outcomes. In August 2023, he will begin his PhD studies in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the US.
