Glody Muka Bantu

Glody Muka Bantu is a Master’s graduate in Data Science at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Cameroon, affiliated with the University of Buea, Cameroon, in June 2023. He has been focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). He can analyze and extract insights from the data to support decision-making and make predictions using ML and Deep Learning (TensorFlow) techniques. He works also in the design of Information Systems, Databases, and Big Data. His current domain of research is NLP and his ultimate vision is to understand the world through Data.

Throughout his previous studies, Glody has taken a variety of Computer Science and Data Science courses, including Data Analytics, Network Sciences, Databases, Machine Learning, and other programming courses, and has consistently achieved high grades. Both independently and in teams, He worked on several projects using various data to solve
real-world problems. As a result, he developed critical skills as an analyst and problem-solver.

In addition to his academic background, Glody brings a strong work ethic, passion, and a collaborative mindset. After earning his Bachelor’s degree with honors from the largest pedagogical university in DRC, he had the opportunity to be a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. This position allowed him to organize outreach activities related to the impact of AI and new technologies on the development of Africa, as well as to supervise students in computer-related courses. This gave him teaching experience and better mastery of the field.
