Sandrine Wayou Fossouo

Cameroon

Taught Masters, 2020/2021

While at AIMS, Sandrine studied the potential impact of COVID-19 vaccination intervention in terms of the number of infections, mortality, and recovery model by the contact reduction interventions. She observed a decreased mortality and increased recoveries due to the vaccination, which is evidence of the efficiency of the COVID-19 vaccines.

After AIMS, Sandrine was a YAM fellow at Bonn University and is currently doing a Master 2 in Evolution of Genomes, Populations and Species: Data and Models at Sorbonne University. She also obtained a Master’s 2 degree in mathematical engineering and biostatistics from the University of Paris City in September 2023.
