Both students were elected during a voting exercise on November 1, 2021. Ariane Nidelle Meli Chrisko is from Cameroon. She is a student in the Fundamental Science Stream of the Structured Master’s Degree Programme.
Caleb Simuyu Khaemba hails from Kenya and is also a student in the Fundamental Science Stream of the Structured Master’s Degree Programme.
Both Representatives will be the representatives and spokespersons of the fifty-eight (58) new students, 45% of whom are women, who gained admission to AIMS Cameroon to take a 10-month Master’s Degree course in Mathematical Sciences.
The 2021-2022 Cohort comprises 39 Cameroonians and 19 international students from Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Sudan, and Zambia.
