Prof. Gisèle Mophou

Gisèle Mophou Loudjom is the head of the German Research Chair at AIMS Cameroon supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. She is also an African Academy of Sciences Fellow. After an Advanced Study Diploma (D.E.A) in Numerical Analysis at the University Paris VI, she obtained her PhD and her Habilition to Lead Research (H.D.R) at the University of the French West Indies and Guiana. She is a Full Professor in Applied Mathematics at the University of the French West Indies and Guiana and a member of the Laboratoire de Mathématiques Informatique et Applications (LAMIA) at the Université des Antilles (UA). Her research areas include: Partial Differential Equations; Time Fractional Partial Differential Equations and Control Theory. Her main goal in studying these subjects is to use them for modeling environmental phenomena in order to control them.
