Concept lattice has been proven to be a very effective tool and architecture for data mining in general. It is widely used for data analysis and knowledge discovery and various concept lattice based approaches are used depending on the type of data. While at AIMS, Pascal SUNGU applied the formal concept analysis which is a method used in lattice theory to find in a database patterns that appear frequently together. In the same essay, he showed how the concept of lattice can be used for image datasets characterization using landmarks.

Pascal is currently an IT consultant on cloud solutions (Oracle Netsuite) and a PhD candidate under ACoMVec project at the university of Douala.
