Dr. Bertin Many Manda

Cameroon

Taught Masters, 2014/2015

While at AIMS, Many computed the vacuum polarization energy within the continuum scattering theory. He used tools like Levinson’s theorem or Born approximations to handle the ultra-violet divergence encountered in his computations and obtained the renormalized classical energy, written as the sum of the classical energy added up with the leading term correction due to quantum fluctuations..

Many is currently a Postdoctoral researcher at Laboratoire d’Acoustique de l’Université du Maine UMR-CNRS, France. He obtained his PhD degree in 2021 at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
