Climate Science student and 3MT Finalist Passy Mukami from Kenya yesterday won the Second Prize after presenting her Research Project titled “Time-Frequency Analysis and Machine Learning Models For Carbon Market Forecasting and Co-Movement with the COVID-19 Spread”
Passy is a charismatic and dependable woman with great interest in problem solving activities aimed at finding scientific solutions to the various social issues facing Africa. She is an environmentalist and this has led her to the field of Climate Science where she aims at getting useful insights that can help African countries make better decisions concerning issues related to climate change.
