Sulyman Iyanda is currently studying and working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), applying his analytical and computational skills to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics and statistics. He earned his first master’s degree in mathematical sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Cameroon, where he gained expertise in tackling advanced statistical and mathematical intricacies using specialized software. Subsequently, he served as a guest researcher at the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.
Sulyman’s foundational knowledge of statistical theory and methods was developed during his bachelor’s degree at the University of Ilorin. Proficient in R, he uses this statistical software for data manipulation, visualization, and modeling. His core competencies include problem-solving, critical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork. Other software that I have been used include Minitab, Matlab, and Python.
