Electrodynamics

Dr. Obinna Cosmas Abah is a Newcastle University Academic Track (NUAcT) fellow specializing in quantum science and technology at Newcastle University, United Kingdom. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Quantum Technology group at Queen’s University Belfast, contributing to an EPSRC project, and held prestigious fellowships such as the Royal Society Newton International Fellowship and the Royal Exhibition of 1851 research fellowship.

Currently, his research focuses on quantum thermal devices and quantum dynamic processes. He employs a multidisciplinary approach, combining quantum information theory, condensed matter physics, quantum measurement, quantum control through shortcut-to-adiabaticity, and statistical physics. His work contributes to the evolving field of quantum science and technology, advancing our understanding of quantum systems operating far from equilibrium.
