Guy Tsafack

Cameroon

Coop Masters, 2018/2020

While at Aims, Guy’s goal was to describe, analyze and digitize the procedure for obtaining a building permit at Limbe City Council. He proposed a web application to simplify this procedure with a database (containing all the building permits and information about applicants) behind it. He collected data between 2014 and 2019 from the Limbe city council technical service about the people who had already applied for a building permit and analyzed it to help make certain decisions regarding the occupation in the different areas and the type of building in the Limbe municipality.

Guy is currently a Ph.D. student and Teaching assistant in applied mathematics at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Basically, his project is to find a novel numerical method for solving the stochastic differential-algebraic equation.
